With your MD-5050 metal detector you can hunt for coins , relics, jewelry, gold and silver just about anywhere. The detector comes with high sensitivity and strong ability of discrimination. It is versatile and easy to use.

LCD Display - shows the probable type of metal with an arrow, the depth of the target , DISC/NOTCH range, the level of
SENS, and battery condition. It also has numeric display for disc and targrt.

Three Tone Audio Discrimination - sounds three distinctive tones( high medium and low )for different types of metal.

Notch - ignores junk metal and finds valuable items by setting the disc and notch range.

DISC - discriminates the target selected.

Super Slow Sweep Identification - with a very slow sweep of the search coil to discriminate different types of metal.

Headphone Jack - lets you connect headphones(not supplied)of 3.5mm and operate without trouble.

240mm Waterproof Search coil—lets you use the detector even if you must put it under water (Note:The detector can not be used in the rain.)

Adjustable Shaft - Lets you adjust the length of shaft for comfortable use.

Power - Use six 1. 5-volt AA alkaline batteries

About depth of detection:

The depth of detection is based on the size of the metal. The larger the metal, the deeper the depth of detection.

A coin is small, and the detection is about 15-20CM.

A silver dollar has a depth of 20 cm. A mobile phone has a depth of 35 cm. A 10x10 bronze mirror has a depth of 60 cm. A 60x60 CM iron plate can detect about 1.5 meters.
