Clamp ammeters referred to as clamp meter. The work is mainly composed of an electromagnetic current meter and bushing type current mutual inductor. Straight through current transformer core made of movable opening, and a clamp on ammeter, named. The utility model relates to a portable instrument which can directly measure the AC current of a circuit without disconnecting the circuit.
A table is set for current transformer and current meter in one meter, is an important branch of digital multimeter, the measured current and current transformer and its working principle is the same. Clamp meter is composed of a current transformer and current meter assembly. The iron core of the current transformer can be opened when the wrench is pressed, and the wire passing through the current can be cut through the opening of the iron core without cutting off. The measured circuit conductor passing through the core becomes the primary coil of the current transformer, and the current is induced in the two coil through the current. Thus, the current meter connected with the two coil can be used to indicate the current of the measured line.
