Instructions for Use:

1. Soil moisture content: The amount of water in the soil measured under specified conditions, expressed as the percentage of the difference between the pre-drying quality and the drying quality of the soil on the drying quality.

2. Simply put: (wet weight-dry weight) / dry weight × 100%, the moisture content is the percentage of free water in the soil to the total mass of the soil.

3. In actual use, when the water content in the soil exceeds 24%, the soil is saturated and overflows. Therefore, it is not practical to detect a water content exceeding 24%.

4. Suitable soil moisture content for normal crop growth is in the range of 12% -20%. Therefore, it is only necessary to detect the moisture content below 24% of the saturated moisture content to meet the actual needs of irrigation and various productions.

5. In order to facilitate the user to measure the soil quality with high moisture content, this product uses 0-50% hardware range. Therefore, the dynamic range of the sensor is 0-50%, and the output can be adjusted to 0-100% according to the coefficient. The moisture detection range is 0-50% in actual output.
